APTA, or the American Physical Therapy Association, is a professional membership organization of more than 100,000 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and physical therapy students. The mission of APTA is to foster advancements in physical therapist practice, research, and education, and to enhance the quality of life of individuals, families, communities, and populations. APTA CSM, or Combined Sections Meeting, is an annual conference sponsored by APTA, which brings together physical therapists, physical therapy students, and physical therapist assistants from across the country to share ideas and learn from each other. The CSM features educational sessions, networking events, and an exhibit hall with hundreds of vendors.
